Entry-level 32-bit MCU for cost-sensitive control
The STM32G051K8T6: ARM Cortex-M0+ 32-bit MCU at 64 MHz with 64 KB Flash and 18K x 8 RAM.
64 MHz Cortex-M0+ — enough for real-time loops
64 MHz core speed with single-cycle multiply for sensor polling and protocol stacks.
Memory sizing: 64 KB Flash, 18 KB RAM
64 KB Flash and 18K x 8 RAM for sensor data buffering and RTOS heap.
The device includes a 12-bit SAR ADC and two 12-bit DACs, enabling direct sensor interfacing and analog control output without external converters. The ADC is suitable for monitoring voltage rails, current shunts, or thermistor inputs at moderate sampling rates. The dual DAC can generate reference voltages or drive analog actuator setpoints.
Housed in a 32-LQFP package with a 7x7 mm body, this is a surface-mount device that is straightforward to hand-assemble or reflow. The 0.8 mm pitch is compatible with standard PCB design rules and does not require via-in-pad or microvia techniques.
