64 MHz Cortex-M0+ in a 32-LQFP — entry-level workhorse for cost-sensitive control
The STM32G050K8T6: The core is a single-core 32-bit design, targeting cost-optimized control applications where the balance of speed, memory, and pin count matters. Operating temperature is industrial-grade at -40 °C to 85 °C, rated for factory-floor and outdoor telecom cabinets without the premium of a full automotive grade. The 12-bit SAR ADC handles analog front-end tasks without an external converter.
It is current-production, ROHS3 compliant, and part of the STM32G0 series that remains a mainstream portfolio.
Program memory is 64 KB of Flash, organized as 64K x 8. RAM is 18K x 8. This is the entry-level density in the STM32G0 family — enough for a modest RTOS, a couple of communication stacks, and control loops. The 64 KB Flash is the same density as the STM32G050K8T6's base product number suggests, and the 18 KB RAM provides a comfortable heap and stack for non-graphic embedded applications.
