216 MHz Cortex-M7 — what that buys the BOM
The STM32F769NGH6 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 single-core MCU from STMicroelectronics' STM32F7 series, clocked at 216 MHz with a 1 MB Flash and 512 KB RAM memory map. That core speed places it in the high-performance tier for Cortex-M parts — enough headroom for real-time graphics on the integrated LCD controller, Ethernet packet processing without a separate network coprocessor, and DSP-style math for audio over SAI or SPDIF. The 168 I/O pins in a 216-TFBGA (13×13 mm) package give board designers the routing flexibility to connect external memory via EBI/EMI or QSPI while still having plenty of GPIO for sensors and actuators in a factory-automation or HMI panel.
