The STM32F765VGT6TR runs at 216 MHz with 1 MB Flash and 512 KB SRAM. The 1 MB program memory is sized for a full embedded TCP/IP stack plus application code; the 512 KB SRAM gives headroom for double-buffered Ethernet frames or a large trace buffer. If your firmware fits in 512 KB Flash, you can step down the density variant and save — but for a single-chip industrial gateway or a multi-axis servo controller, this memory map avoids external RAM.
Connectivity and peripherals — bridging without extra chips
The peripheral set includes Ethernet MAC, two CAN interfaces, USB OTG, multiple SPI and I²C buses, plus an external memory interface (EBI/EMI).
