The STM32F732ZET6 is an STMicroelectronics ARM Cortex-M7 MCU in the STM32F7 series. It runs at 216 MHz from a single-core 32-bit CPU with a single-precision FPU and a 6-stage pipeline that gives roughly 462 CoreMark at that clock. The 114 I/O pins in the 144-LQFP package leave room for a parallel display bus, multiple UARTs, and a CAN interface alongside the usual sensor and control lines.
Industrial temperature grade and deployment environments
The 1.7 V minimum supply helps in battery-backed or energy-harvesting scenarios where the rail droops under load.
ST continues to manufacture this device, so there is no imminent last-time-buy or allocation risk for new designs. The base product number STM32F732 spans several Flash and package options; if a future BOM revision needs more memory or a smaller footprint, the family shares the same core and peripheral IP, which simplifies migration without a full software rewrite.
Data converters and analog integration
The on-chip data converters include sixteen 12-bit ADC channels and two 12-bit DAC channels. For a motor-drive controller, the ADCs can sample phase currents and a potentiometer reference simultaneously; the DACs can generate analog setpoints or a sine-wave reference for an external amplifier. The internal oscillator reduces external component count, though a crystal is still recommended for CAN or USB timing accuracy.
