180 MHz Cortex-M4 with 2 MB on-chip flash
The STM32F479IIH6 runs an ARM Cortex-M4 core at 180 MHz, paired with 2 MB of flash and 384 KB of SRAM. That flash footprint holds a full GUI frame buffer plus application code without external memory — the LCD controller and DMA engine can refresh the display directly from the SRAM, leaving the CPU free for protocol stacks. The 131 I/O pins break out to CAN, Ethernet, USB OTG, and multiple SPI/I²C/UART interfaces, so this part handles both the human-machine interface and the fieldbus gateway on a single die.
