The STM32F469BIT6 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 MCU from STMicroelectronics' STM32F4 series, clocked at 180 MHz with 2 MB of Flash and 384 KB of RAM. That memory footprint is sized for a full GUI stack on the integrated LCD controller, Ethernet buffering, and a real-time OS without bolting on external SRAM or SDRAM. The 161 I/O lines, plus CAN, USB OTG, and SAI audio interfaces, make this a single-chip candidate for an HMI panel or an industrial gateway that also drives a local display.
Peripheral set at a glance
On-chip peripherals include a TFT LCD controller with parallel interface, Ethernet MAC, dual CAN 2.0B, USB OTG FS/HS, multiple SPI/I²C/UART, SDIO, SAI for I²S audio, and a 24-channel 12-bit ADC plus a 2-channel 12-bit DAC. The DMA engine and internal oscillator reduce external component count — a crystal is still recommended for Ethernet clock accuracy.
