The STM32F437VGT7TR is an STMicroelectronics STM32F4 series microcontroller built around an ARM Cortex-M4 core with single-precision FPU and DSP instructions, clocked at 180 MHz. It carries 1 MB of on-chip Flash and 256 KB of SRAM, enough to run a real-time operating system, a TCP/IP stack with Ethernet MAC, and a graphical display through the integrated LCD parallel interface without external memory. The 100-LQFP package gives access to 82 GPIOs, which is sufficient for a mid-complexity HMI or an industrial communication gateway.
The part integrates Ethernet MAC, two CAN interfaces, USB OTG (host and device), plus multiple SPI, I²C, UART/USART, and I²S serial buses. The EBI/EMI interface can connect external SRAM, NOR Flash, or an LCD controller.
