What this STM32F413ZHJ6 brings to the board
The STM32F413ZHJ6 is an STMicroelectronics 32-bit MCU built around an ARM Cortex-M4 core clocked at 100 MHz, with 1.5 MB of Flash and 320 KB of SRAM on a single die.
Peripherals and connectivity — what is on the die
The peripheral set includes three 12-bit ADCs (16 channels total), two 12-bit DACs, multiple advanced timers suitable for PWM generation in motor-control or power-conversion loops, and a true random-number generator. On the connectivity side you get CAN 2.0B, USB OTG (with on-chip PHY), multiple SPI and I²C interfaces, a Quad-SPI for external Flash/FRAM, an SAI for digital audio, and a camera interface. The brown-out and power-on-reset blocks are integrated, so you can drop the external supervisor in many designs.
Package reality: 144-UFBGA is not a hand-solder part
The 144-ball UFBGA (10x10 mm) with 0.5 mm ball pitch means this is a reflow-only package. No lab bench, no hot-air station — you need a proper reflow profile, a stencil, and X-ray inspection for hidden solder joints.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
