The 512 KB program Flash is the mid-density point in the STM32F411 line — enough for a full USB stack, a real-time OS kernel, and a moderate application layer without external memory. The 128 KB SRAM (organized as 128K x 8) supports double-buffered DMA transfers and a few hundred bytes of frame buffer for a small TFT display. If the firmware image pushes past 512 KB, the pin-compatible STM32F411RET6 (512 KB Flash, 128 KB SRAM) or the STM32F411VET6 (512 KB Flash, 128 KB SRAM) in a larger package are the natural stepping stones, but the CEU7's 48-pin QFN saves board area.
Industrial temperature grade and exposed-pad thermal management

If a dual-source strategy is still desired, the STM32F411CEU6 (same die, different package variant) is the closest official alternate, but the CEU7's UFQFPN package is the more common footprint for compact designs.
