84 MHz Cortex-M4 with FPU — what it buys you
The Cortex-M4 core includes a single-precision floating-point unit (FPU) and DSP instructions, so you can run sensor fusion, motor-control loops, or audio filtering without a separate math coprocessor. Program memory is 512 KB of Flash, with 96 KB of SRAM for data and stack — enough headroom for a real-time OS and a moderate application image.
The LQFP footprint is straightforward for two-layer boards, unlike finer-pitch BGA packages.
