Analog front-end for motor and power control
The STM32F303RBT7 carries 22 multiplexed 12-bit ADC channels and two 12-bit DAC outputs — a channel count and converter set that directly supports three-phase motor current sensing (typically two or three shunt resistors) plus a DC-link voltage measurement, with the DACs generating analog setpoints or offset cancellation voltages. The Cortex-M4's single-cycle MAC and FPU handle field-oriented control (FOC) loops without an external DSP or dedicated motor-control coprocessor.
Peripherals and connectivity for system integration
The 52 general-purpose I/O pins in the 64-LQFP package leave room for parallel sensor interfaces and local control signals.
