3.06V threshold — the trip point that matters
The STM1817TWX7F is a Simple Reset/Power-On Reset supervisor IC from STMicroelectronics. Its key parameter is the 3.06V voltage threshold — this is the level at which the reset output asserts when the monitored supply dips below it. For a 3.3V rail, a 3.06V threshold means the reset triggers before the rail drops into the undefined operating region of downstream logic, typically around 2.7-2.9V for 3.3V devices. The reset output is Active High with a push-pull, totem pole stage — no external pull-up resistor is needed on the output pin. When the monitored voltage falls below 3.06V, the output drives high; when it recovers above the threshold and the 100ms minimum reset timeout elapses, the output goes low, releasing the system from reset.
Industrial temp range and SOT-23-3 footprint
The 105°C upper limit gives 15°C of margin over the typical 85°C industrial ceiling before derating becomes a concern. The SOT-23-3 package (TO-236-3 / SC-59) is a 3-pin surface-mount footprint with 0.95 mm pitch. The pinout is standard for this class: GND, reset output, and VDD.
