The STGIPN3H60A is a 3 A, 600 V IGBT intelligent power module (IPM) from ST's SLLIMM series, integrating a three-phase bridge in a single 26-PowerDIP through-hole package. It is designed for motor drives, inverters, and power supplies where isolation and thermal management are handled on a standard PCB.
Ratings that define the power stage
Rated at 3 A continuous and 600 V blocking, this module fits small fractional-horsepower motor drives and auxiliary inverter stages. The 1000 VDC isolation between the power stage and the control pins means you can run the module on a 230 VAC line without an external isolation barrier — the module itself provides the safety separation. The three-phase configuration integrates six IGBTs with their freewheeling diodes in a single package, saving board area and eliminating the layout complexity of discrete IGBTs. The through-hole PowerDIP package (0.846" body width) suits wave-solder assembly and provides a robust mechanical anchor for the module.
