The STMicroelectronics STF10N105K5 is a 1050 V N-channel power MOSFET from the MDmesh series, built on a metal-oxide semiconductor process. The 30 V maximum gate-source voltage gives some margin for gate-drive transients in hard-switched topologies.

Full-pack package: no insulating washer, but check the thermal pad

The TO-220FP is a full-moulded package — the metal tab is encased in epoxy, so the heatsink interface is electrically isolated. That saves a sil-pad or mica washer and the assembly labour. The trade-off is higher thermal resistance compared to a standard TO-220 with a washer; the 30 W power dissipation rating assumes the back of the package is properly greased and clamped to a heatsink. The three through-hole leads are on a 2.54 mm pitch, standard for a TO-220 footprint. No special reflow profile — this is a hand-solder or wave-solder part.
