25 V, 80 A N-channel — the scorch-mark tells you it's a low-side switch
The STD95N2LH5: It comes in a DPAK (TO-252) surface-mount package — the same footprint as dozens of other 80 A-class parts, so a board swap is usually a direct solder-in.
That translates to about 7.2 W conduction loss at 40 A — well within the 70 W power dissipation rating, but the DPAK's thermal pad needs a decent copper pour on the PCB to keep the junction below 175°C. The 13.4 nC gate charge at 5 V means a standard 5 V GPIO or a simple gate driver can switch it at moderate frequencies without a dedicated high-current driver IC.
