That means ST has stopped production, and no last-time-buy window remains open. For a BOM line that still calls out STD90NH02LT4, the practical path is either sourcing from the surplus/broker channel or qualifying a pin-compatible replacement. The DPAK footprint is common, so a drop-in substitute from another STripFET or competing low-voltage MOSFET family is feasible — but no official successor is listed on the record. A cross-reference search against 24 V, 60 A, 6 mOhm N-channel MOSFETs in DPAK will turn up candidates that share the same gate-drive voltage range (5 V / 10 V).
At 30 A, dissipation in the channel is roughly 5.4 W — well within the 95 W package limit, but the thermal path through the DPAK tab to the board copper still needs a solid via stitch to keep the junction below 175 °C.
