The gate charge is 54 nC at 10 V, so the driver needs to source that charge quickly to hit the switching edges you want in a 100 kHz-ish converter. Input capacitance is 2200 pF at 25 V Vds, a moderate figure that keeps the Miller plateau manageable for a standard gate-driver IC.
The part is available to source through our network, but it is a last-time-buy / broker-market item, so verify stock and pricing at quote time. There is no direct pin-compatible drop-in from ST listed; a replacement search should start with a 40 V N-channel MOSFET in DPAK with similar Rds(on) and gate charge, but you will need to validate the footprint and drive voltage against your layout.
DPAK footprint — reflow and handling notes
The DPAK (TO-252) is a standard surface-mount power package with a tab that carries the drain. It is MSL 1 typically, so no pre-bake needed for most reflow profiles, but check the date code — older stock may have absorbed moisture if the reel was opened. Watch the pad-to-pad clearance on the two-lead version — the tab is the third connection.
