The 10.5 mOhm max on-resistance at 30A and 10V gate drive means conduction losses stay low in a 70A-rated part — useful for motor drives, load switches, and DC-DC converters where you want the junction temperature to stay under 175°C.

What the 10.5 mOhm Rds(on) buys you

At 30A continuous drain, the 10.5 mOhm max Rds(on) at Vgs=10V translates to roughly 9.5W conduction loss at full current — manageable with the DPAK's tab soldered to a copper plane. The 32 nC gate charge at 5V keeps switching losses reasonable for a 70A part; you can drive it from a standard gate driver or even a logic-level PWM signal if you account for the 5V minimum drive voltage for the rated Rds(on).

DPAK — field-swappable without a hot-air station

The TO-252 (DPAK) surface-mount package is a common, rework-friendly footprint. The tab is the drain, and the two leads are gate and source — orientation is obvious from the tab bevel. You can hand-solder it with a standard iron and a bit of solder wick; no hot-air station needed for a field swap. The 110W power dissipation rating assumes the tab is soldered to a good thermal pad on the PCB.
