600W bidirectional TVS — the protection window
It clamps at a maximum of 275V at 2.2A peak pulse current, with a reverse standoff voltage of 170V and a minimum breakdown of 189V. This voltage stack defines the protection window: the rail stays below 170V during normal operation, and the device starts conducting between 189V and 275V to shunt transients. The 600W rating means it can absorb a single 10/1000µs surge up to that power level — enough for secondary protection on 170V DC buses, telecom lines, or industrial 120/240VAC rectified rails.
