600W bidirectional transient suppressor for 10V rails
It delivers 600W peak pulse power (10/1000µs waveform) and clamps at 17V maximum, with a minimum breakdown voltage of 11.1V. The single bidirectional channel means one device protects a pair of signal or power lines carrying AC or bipolar signals, without needing two unidirectional diodes back-to-back.
Protection window: standoff, breakdown and clamping
Above that, the device starts breaking down at 11.1V minimum, and the clamping voltage holds the transient to 17V maximum at the rated 37A peak pulse current. For a 10V rail with ±10% tolerance, the 11.1V breakdown gives enough guard band that normal ripple won't trigger false clamping, while the 17V clamp keeps downstream silicon within its absolute maximum ratings.
