Product details

6-axis sensor fusion with digital output flexibility

The LSM6DSVTR: This iNEMO inertial module integrates a 3D accelerometer, 3D gyroscope, and temperature sensor in a single 14-LGA package. The output interfaces include I²C, I3C, and SPI — the I3C bus offers higher data throughput and lower power than I²C while remaining backward-compatible with legacy I²C masters on the same two-wire bus.

Board-fit: 14-LGA 2.5x3 mm footprint

Housed in a 14-VFLGA package (2.5 x 3 mm body), the LSM6DSVTR mounts on the PCB with a standard surface-mount reflow profile. The supplier device package is 14-LGA (2.5x3) — the same land pattern used by other iNEMO 6-axis parts in the LSM6DS family, so a board already laid out for an LSM6DSMTR or LSM6DSRXTR should accept this part without a footprint change.

Industrial temperature span

The temperature sensor inside the module can also be read over the digital bus to compensate for thermal drift in the inertial measurements.

Frequently asked questions

Will LSM6DSVTR drop into a board designed for LSM6DSMTR?

The LSM6DSVTR shares the same 14-LGA (2.5x3 mm) package and pinout as the LSM6DSMTR, LSM6DSRXTR, and LSM6DSRTR. The output interfaces differ — the LSM6DSVTR adds I3C support alongside I²C and SPI — but the footprint and supply rails are compatible, so a board already routed for those peers should accept the LSM6DSVTR without a layout change.
