6-axis MEMS with I²C and SPI — what the part is
The LSM303DTR from STMicroelectronics is a 6-axis inertial module combining a 3D accelerometer, a 3D magnetometer, and a temperature sensor in a single 16-LGA package measuring 3×3 mm. Communication is over either I²C or SPI, selectable by the chip-select pin — the same BOM position serves both bus architectures without a level translator, since both interfaces share the same supply range.
