The LSM303DLH from STMicroelectronics integrates a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis magnetometer in a single 28-LGA package measuring 5x5 mm. It communicates over I²C, making it a straightforward drop for any MCU with a free I²C bus.

Package and interface fit
The 28-LGA (5x5 mm) land-grid array requires a standard SMT reflow profile. The I²C output keeps the pin count low — only four signal lines (SDA, SCL, plus two interrupt pins) are needed for full data readout. Supplied in trays, the LSM303DLH is suited for pick-and-place assembly in medium-to-high volume runs. The surface-mount package is compatible with lead-free soldering processes.
