6-axis combo sensor with digital interface
The LSM303CTR integrates a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer, and temperature sensor in a single 12-LGA (2x2 mm) package — a compact 6-axis solution for orientation and heading applications. Communication is handled via I²C or SPI, giving the designer flexibility to match the host microcontroller's peripheral bus without extra level shifting.
Housed in a 12-VFLGA (2x2 mm) land-grid array, the LSM303CTR is a surface-mount device. The small footprint requires careful solder-paste stencil design and reflow profiling to avoid bridging on the fine-pitch pads. Cut Tape suits prototype or low-volume builds.
