The supply span runs from 3 V to 30 V, making it a single-supply part that also handles split rails.
This means STMicroelectronics has flagged the part for eventual discontinuation — it is still available for existing BOM lines but should not be selected for new product introductions. For a production BOM already using the LM324DT, the NRND status means the window for last-time-buy planning is open.

Where the LM324DT fits and where it does not
The 1.3 MHz GBP and 0.4 V/µs slew rate place this squarely in the general-purpose signal-conditioning class — sensor buffers, active filters below 100 kHz, DC level shifting, and comparator duty. It is not a high-speed or precision part; the 20 nA input bias and 2 mV offset are typical for this class, not competitive with precision op-amps.
