Fixed 5 V LDO for moderate-current rails
The STMicroelectronics LD1117V50 is a single-output positive fixed LDO regulator delivering a regulated 5 V output at up to 800 mA. It comes in a TO-220-3 through-hole package, suited for board-level power conditioning where a clean 5 V rail is needed from a higher DC input.
Maximum dropout voltage is 1.2 V at 800 mA output. Power-supply rejection ratio is 75 dB at 120 Hz.
