Half-step capability and parallel interface
Step resolution options are full-step (1) and half-step (1/2). Half-stepping doubles the number of positions per revolution, giving smoother low-speed motion and reducing low-speed resonance compared to full-step drive. The parallel interface means the step and direction signals are separate digital lines — no serial protocol to configure, which keeps the firmware simple. The driver handles the sequencing internally; the controller just toggles the step line.
Operating junction temperature spans 0°C to 150°C. The lower end (0°C) limits use in cold environments — not rated for freezing or outdoor installations without a heated enclosure. The 150°C upper limit is the junction rating, so adequate heatsinking or forced air is needed when running near the 1.5A maximum in a warm ambient.
Product status is Active, and the part is ROHS3 compliant.
