Triple Schmitt inverter in 8-TSSOP
The NXP XC7WT14DP,125 is a triple Schmitt-trigger inverter from the 7WT series, packaged in an 8-TSSOP (3.00mm width) with three independent inverter channels, each with a single input.
The Schmitt-trigger inputs have a low-level threshold of 0.5V to 0.6V and a high-level threshold of 2V at 5V supply — this hysteresis cleans up noisy or slow-rising digital signals, preventing false toggles on the output. Maximum propagation delay is 8.5 ns at 5V with a 50 pF load — this sets the data-rate ceiling; for a 50 MHz clock signal, the delay adds about 0.4% of the period, which is within the timing margin for most logic families.
