The PCA85176H/Q900/1,5 from NXP is a 40-segment LCD driver IC that communicates over an I²C bus, making it a straightforward add-on for any MCU with a spare I²C port. The 40 segment outputs drive up to 40 LCD elements directly — enough for a 7-digit numeric display with decimal points and annunciators, or a custom icon-based panel.
