Triple inverter with open-drain outputs
The NXP 74HCT3G06GD,125 is a triple inverter gate with open-drain outputs, part of the 74HCT logic family. Each of the three independent inverters can sink up to 4 mA per channel, with the high side left open — the output pulls low when the input is high, and floats when the input is low. Input thresholds are 5 V CMOS-compatible: low at 0.8 V max, high at 2 V min. Propagation delay is 6 ns typical at 4.5 V with a 50 pF load.
Housed in an 8-XFDFN package, also designated as 8-XSON (2x3 mm). The 0.50 mm pitch, 0.35 mm pad width demands a controlled solder-paste stencil aperture — the narrow pad-to-pad spacing is the primary assembly risk. Surface-mount only; no through-hole variant exists. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C, covering automotive-grade ambient conditions. Quiescent current is 20 µA max, negligible in battery-powered designs.
