The 74HC241D,652 is a dual 4-bit non-inverting buffer with 3-state outputs from NXP's 74HC family — each element drives four bits, giving an 8-bit bus interface in one 20-pin SOIC package. The 3-state output allows multiple buffers to share a common data bus: when the output enable is deasserted, the pins go high-impedance and the bus floats, preventing contention between drivers. Supply voltage spans 2V to 6V, covering both 3.3V and 5V logic rails — the 74HC threshold is CMOS-compatible with TTL-level inputs across this range.
