Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
The 1206SFS125F/63-2: Sourced through independent surplus and broker channels against an RFQ.
1.25 A slow-blow in a 1206 footprint
Rated 1.25 A continuous at 63 VDC, this SFS-series fuse opens on sustained overloads above that threshold — the slow-blow characteristic tolerates brief inrush spikes without nuisance tripping, which is the typical selection driver for this class. Breaking capacity is 50 A at the rated voltage — the fuse can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without rupturing the 1206 ceramic body. Melting I²t is 0.22 A²s, a figure the PCB layout engineer uses to size the trace width and copper pour that must survive the clearing event without lifting the pad.
Board-fit and temperature range
The 0.2 Ω DC cold resistance means minimal voltage drop at rated current. The fuse derates above 85°C per the Littelfuse SFS application note; the 1.25 A rating applies at 25°C. UL approved — the agency listing certifies the fuse meets UL 248-14 for supplemental overcurrent protection in equipment.
