Housed in the standard DO-214AB (SMCJ) surface-mount package, the 1.5SMC200C shares the same footprint as other 1.5SMC series parts — a single copper pad under the cathode tab sets the thermal resistance to the board. The bidirectional channel means both junctions are in the same die, so polarity marking is symmetrical; no orientation concern during pick-and-place.
No power line protection feature — this is a pure transient suppressor for signal, data, or low-power DC rails, not a mains-side MOV replacement.
