Surge ratings and voltage clamping
The 1.5KE510C-B: It clamps a transient to 732.9 V maximum when the surge current reaches 2.1 A. Reverse standoff voltage is 434 V; the device starts to break down at 459 V minimum. This means a 480 VAC line transient that exceeds the standoff level will be clamped before the downstream silicon sees the full surge.
Package and temperature envelope
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, through-hole mounted. The junction operates from -55°C to 175°C, covering industrial and telecom ambient ranges with margin for self-heating during the pulse.
