1500 W peak pulse, 11.1 V standoff — the protection window
The Littelfuse 1.5KE13 is a Zener-type TVS diode from the 1.5KE series, designed for general-purpose transient suppression across a single unidirectional channel. The 11.1 V reverse standoff voltage sets the DC operating ceiling: the protected rail must stay below this level under normal conditions. Breakdown occurs at 11.75 V minimum, clamping the transient at 19.11 V max. This 7.36 V window between standoff and clamp defines the protection margin for a 12 V bus or similar rail.
DO-201 axial — board-fit and temperature range
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package, the 1.5KE13 mounts into a 1.1 mm diameter hole on a standard PCB or terminal block. The DO-201 body is common for 1500 W TVS diodes — the lead spacing and diameter match the footprint used across the 1.5KE family.
