The Littelfuse 1.5KE11 is a 1500 W (1.5 kW) peak pulse power Zener TVS diode in the 1.5KE series, designed for unidirectional transient suppression across general-purpose DC rails. Its 9.4 V reverse standoff voltage means it sits across a 9 V or 12 V bus without conducting until a transient exceeds the breakdown threshold. That clamp voltage determines the downstream equipment's withstand requirement — anything connected behind this diode must survive a 16.4 V transient without damage.
