What the ratings mean for your board
The Littelfuse 0603SFV250F/32-2 is a 2.5 A fast-blow fuse in the SFV series, rated for 32 VDC with a 35 A breaking capacity at that voltage. The 35 A interrupt rating means it can safely clear a fault current up to that level without arcing or casing rupture — critical for protecting downstream silicon in a 24 V rail where the available fault current from a bulk cap bank can easily exceed 20 A. The 0.3 melting I²t figure tells you the thermal energy needed to open the element. For a 2.5 A fast-blow fuse, that's low enough to respond quickly to a short without nuisance opening from inrush in most logic-level circuits — but if your load has a capacitive input filter that draws a 5 A surge for 1 ms, you'll want to check the I²t margin against the surge waveform.
Package and temperature profile
The 0.046 Ohm DC cold resistance is low enough that at 2.5 A the voltage drop is roughly 115 mV — negligible for a 24 V rail, but worth a line-loss check if you're running a 3.3 V supply where every millivolt counts.
