The F1206B1R50FSTR is a 1.5 A fast-blow fuse from KYOCERA AVX's Accu-Guard® II series, rated for 63 V DC continuous. It clears faults in under a few milliseconds on a 63 V rail, which means downstream capacitors and regulators see minimal energy before the fuse opens — the melting I²t is just 0.01.
50 A breaking capacity at rated voltage
Breaking capacity is 50 A at the rated 63 V DC — that is the maximum fault current the fuse can safely interrupt without rupturing. For a 63 V bus fed from a battery or a bulk capacitor bank, the prospective short-circuit current rarely exceeds 50 A, so this fuse covers most low-power DC rails in telecom, industrial control, and automotive auxiliary circuits.

Active production, surface-mount 1206
