1.75 A Fast Blow chip fuse for dense 32 V DC rails
The F1206A1R75FWTR is a 1.75 A Fast Blow chip fuse from KYOCERA AVX's Accu-Guard® series, housed in a 1206 (3216 metric) SMD package. It is designed for overcurrent protection on DC power rails up to 32 V, with a breaking capacity of 50 A at rated voltage. The Fast Blow response means it clears quickly on hard shorts, but the 0.035 A²s melting I²t gives it a modest inrush tolerance — enough for bypass capacitors on a 1.75 A rail, but not for a motor start or a large capacitive bank.
Parametric fit: current, voltage, and inrush margin
Rated 1.75 A continuous at 25 °C ambient — derate for elevated board temperature per the Accu-Guard® derating curve. The 32 V DC rating sets the maximum bus voltage; exceeding it risks arc-over after the fuse opens. The 0.1 Ohm DC cold resistance contributes a 175 mV drop at rated current, negligible for most 3.3 V or 5 V rails but worth checking on a 1.8 V supply. Melting I²t of 0.035 A²s is the energy needed to open the fuse element. For a capacitive load, the inrush energy must stay below this value to avoid nuisance opens.
The Accu-Guard® series is a current production line, so the BOM position is stable for new designs and ongoing builds.
