ISDN SLIC with IOM-2/PCM interface
Infineon PEB2095NVA5 is a digital subscriber line interface circuit (SLIC) for ISDN applications, integrating the line interface and codec filter functions in a single CMOS device. It communicates over the IOM-2 and PCM interfaces, the standard digital buses for ISDN terminal equipment and line cards. The part draws 20 mA from a 4.75V to 5.25V supply rail, a typical consumption figure for a single-channel ISDN SLIC running active line termination.
Package, footprint, and board-fit
Housed in a 28-lead LCC with J-bend leads (PG-LCC-28-R), the package is a surface-mount ceramic or plastic leaded chip carrier suited for reflow assembly. The J-lead footprint provides a visual solder-joint inspection point and a smaller board footprint than a comparable SOIC, while the 1.27mm pitch keeps the layout manageable on a two-layer board.
