10-bit absolute pressure sensor with ±0.15 PSI accuracy
The Infineon KP253HP is an absolute pressure sensor in an 8-SMD module (PG-DSOF-8-16) delivering a 10-bit digital output via SPI. The ±0.15 PSI (±1 kPa) accuracy defines the measurement uncertainty budget — in a medical ventilation loop, that translates to roughly 1% of reading at typical airway pressures, tight enough for breath-by-breath control.
Factory-trimmed, no external conditioning needed
The SPI interface runs at the system clock rate; the 10-bit word gives 1024 counts across the full-scale span. The absolute pressure type means the sensor references against a sealed internal vacuum; it reads true barometric or gauge pressure relative to zero, not ambient atmospheric drift.
