CoolMOS power switch for 600 V rails
The 125 mOhm maximum at 16 A, 10 V gate drive defines the I²R conduction loss in a switching cycle. At 25 A continuous drain the die dissipates up to 35 W (Tc), so the thermal path through the full-pack tab to a heatsink needs to be sized for that junction-to-case delta. Gate charge of 70 nC at 10 V keeps the switching losses manageable for a 60–100 kHz SMPS stage.
Active lifecycle, no LTB concern
The closest sibling is the IPP60R125CP in a TO-220-3 (non-isolated) package; the IPA variant's full-pack insulation is the deciding factor when you want to bolt the device directly to a grounded heatsink.
