Constant-current LED driver in SOT-23-6
The BCR430UXTSA2 is a linear constant-current LED driver from Infineon, designed for LED lighting applications. It delivers up to 100 mA per channel with a single output, operating from a 6 V to 42 V supply range and supporting a 42 V output maximum. PWM dimming is supported, making it suitable for brightness control in architectural, signage, or general illumination fixtures where a linear topology keeps EMI low.
Package and thermal design
The 150°C ceiling allows it to run in compact luminaires where ambient heat builds up, provided the board copper area sinks the dissipation. No internal switch — the pass element is external, so the thermal load shifts to the external FET or resistor. That makes the SOT-23-6 package viable for the 100 mA output without derating.
