130W bidirectional ESD clamp for 5V signal lines
The D5V0M2B3LP10-7 is a Zener-type TVS diode from Diodes Incorporated, packing two bidirectional channels into a 3-pin X2-DFN1010-3 package. Rated for 130W peak pulse power (8/20µs waveform), it handles a peak pulse current of 12A, clamping to 14V max at that current. That 14V clamp is what protects the downstream IC — the transient gets shunted before it reaches the 5V-tolerant input stage.
Package and rework reality
Operating temperature spans -65°C to 150°C (junction), which covers the full industrial and automotive ambient range. The 28pF capacitance at 1MHz is low enough that it won't load down high-speed data lines like USB 2.0 or 100 Mbps Ethernet differential pairs.
