Device identity and reset threshold
The MXD1817UR31+T is an Analog Devices microprocessor reset circuit with a 3.06 V threshold, packaged in a three-pin SOT-23-3. This IC monitors the supply rail and holds the processor in reset until the voltage rises above the threshold, then releases it after a timeout — a basic brown-out and power-on reset function for single-supply microcontroller systems.
The SOT-23-3 footprint occupies minimal board area and routes easily on a two-layer PCB — the three pins are VCC, GND, and the reset output, with no external timing capacitor needed. Supplied in Strip packaging, which is the standard tube or bulk format for small SOT-23 reels at prototyping or low-volume production quantities.
Lifecycle and compliance
ROHS3 compliant, meeting the current EU restriction of hazardous substances directive for lead-free assembly.
