12-bit SAR ADC in a through-hole DIP
The MX7572LN05 is a 12-bit successive-approximation (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 308k samples per second through a single-ended input. The SAR architecture delivers a conversion in a fixed number of clock cycles per sample, making the conversion time predictable for real-time control loops. Housed in a 24-pin DIP (0.300-inch body width, 7.62 mm) with through-hole mounting, the package suits prototyping, socketed evaluation, or low-volume production where rework access matters. The supplier device package is 24-PDIP.
Supply rails and interface
The parallel data interface outputs all 12 bits on separate pins, eliminating serial conversion latency for the host controller. The MUX-ADC configuration routes the single input directly to the converter without a sample-and-hold stage (S/H:ADC ratio is 0:1).
Temperature grade and compliance
The part is marked RoHS non-compliant, so verify your assembly's exemption or waiver if lead-free processing is required. Analog Devices lists the product status as Active.
