The Maxim Integrated MAX982CSA+ is a dual comparator with an on-chip voltage reference, packaged in an 8-SOIC. The integrated reference eliminates the need for an external voltage divider or reference IC in threshold-detection circuits — a space and BOM saver for window comparators, battery monitors, and level translators. Hysteresis is set internally at 50mV, so there is no external feedback network to size for noise immunity. Operating temperature is 0°C to 70°C.
