Zero-drift topology — what the 0.8 µV offset means for the BOM
The 0.8 µV input offset is the headline spec: it is the result of a chopper-stabilized zero-drift architecture. The 10 pA input bias current further reduces error in high-impedance sensor circuits. The rail-to-rail output lets the part swing close to the supply rails, preserving dynamic range in a single-supply system.
150 mA output drive — not just a signal amp
This means the MAX9617AXT+T can directly drive a moderate load — a reference input, a small relay coil with a flyback diode, or a heavy analog-to-digital converter reference buffer — without a separate buffer stage.
