What the driver does in a timing tree
The MAX9313EGJ-T is a clock and data driver — it buffers and distributes a clock or data signal with controlled edge rates and minimal skew across multiple loads in a high-speed digital system. As a Clock & Timing IC, it sits between the oscillator or PLL output and the downstream receivers (FPGAs, ADCs, ASICs), fanning out the timing reference without degrading the signal integrity.
Note that this part is RoHS non-compliant, so it contains lead or other restricted substances above the RoHS threshold. Design it into assemblies that are exempt from RoHS (military, aerospace, medical implants, or high-reliability industrial) or that have a specific lead-exemption allowance.
Package and supply posture
Supplied in Bulk packaging — loose units, not tape-and-reel. This is typical for engineering samples, small-quantity prototypes, or rework stock where a reel is unnecessary.
